So it’s winter time now, and with it comes a whole truckload of snow and ice. Why am I posting about winter? Well, it might have to do with the fact that I currently have a love hate relationship with it. Or the fact that all the trees have been covered completely with ice a couple weeks ago. That was pretty; the mass blackout that the ice caused…was not.
In any case, I find ice to be beautiful. However, I hate it in the winter time because it makes you slip and fall onto who knows what (could be dog poo, it happens) and it’s fucking freezing outside (so cold hell could have frozen over). It’s been so bad that we (people in Canada) have started thinking of -7 degrees Celsius is warm. Now that’s how you know you have a problem.
On the plus side, we get to see all our trees frozen in all its icy glory, like a true winter wonderland. Dammit, should have taken more pictures when I had the chance. We also get to see other people’s cars frozen up, and gleefully watch as they have to chip the ice off bit by bit with one of those scrapers, or a screwdriver, or really whatever you can find in the near vicinity. Granted, it’s awful when you have to chip the ice off your own car too, but hey, at least you get to see the others suffer as well.
